The Service Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Greater London. The Service Engineer will perform installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of CNC machine tools and associated automation equipment at customer locations. Day-to-day responsibilities include diagnosing technical issues, carrying out mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, and providing timely field service and technical support to ensure optimal machine performance. The role involves preparing service reports, maintaining accurate documentation, and communicating clearly with customers and internal teams about work carried out and any follow-up actions. The Service Engineer will also support customers with operational guidance, contribute to continuous improvement of service processes, and uphold NCMT’s standards for safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
