Yorkshire Pools Ltd is seeking a Service Engineer to support installation, maintenance and repair of swimming pools and hot tubs across the UK. This full-time remote role involves diagnosing issues, performing routine maintenance, and guiding customers on safe operation of equipment.

You will coordinate field service visits, document service activities, and collaborate with the team to resolve complex problems while ensuring customer satisfaction. A UK driving licence is advantageous.

Role Description

The Service Engineer role is a full-time remote position responsible for supporting the installation, maintenance, and repair of swimming pools, hot tubs, and associated systems for customers across the UK. Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing technical issues, performing routine and preventive maintenance, conducting on-site and remote troubleshooting, and providing clear guidance to customers on safe and efficient operation of their equipment. The Service Engineer will coordinate field service visits, document service activities, and ensure that repairs and maintenance work are completed to company standards and within agreed timeframes. The role also involves collaborating with the wider team to elevate complex issues, recommend improvements, and contribute to a positive customer experience.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and water system issues efficiently.


• Candidates should possess Field Service experience, including working on-site with customers, managing service schedules, and performing hands‑on installation and repair tasks.


• Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to explain technical information clearly, provide customer updates, and collaborate with colleagues.


• Candidates should possess Technical Support capabilities to assist customers remotely, guide basic issue resolution, and document technical cases accurately.


• Candidates should possess Maintenance & Repair skills focused on pool, hot tub, or similar mechanical systems, including routine servicing and component replacement.


• Relevant technical qualification or apprenticeship in engineering, plumbing, electrical, or a related field is beneficial.


• Ability to work independently, manage travel and time effectively, and maintain accurate service records.


• A valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the UK as needed.


• Health and safety awareness, with a commitment to safe working practices around water, chemicals, and electrical equipment.
