Job summary

Alan Bettin Swimming Pools Ltd seeks a Service Engineer to service and repair pools, spas and related equipment across domestic and commercial sites. The role includes water chemistry, filtration systems and occasional work on saunas and steam rooms, with duties extending to van stock and deliveries.

Applicants should have a full driving licence, be willing to work towards the Tn ISPE qualification, and hold A-Level or equivalent, plus DBS and health & safety qualifications.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintaining and fault-finding pools, spas and equipment.
• Water testing, chemical treatment and maintaining water quality.
• Pool filtration, pumps, heating and circulation systems.
• Plumbing and pipework installation and repairs (ABS, PVC, copper).
• Seasonal pool opening, closing, winterisation and routine maintenance.
• Indoor pool environmental systems and associated equipment.
• Leak detection and repair.
• Pool lining work, including removal and installation of vinyl liners.
• General repairs, maintenance and occasional work on saunas and steam rooms.
• Safe use of tools, machinery and pool chemicals.
• Maintaining van stock, tools and equipment and assisting with deliveries when required.
• Carry out any reasonable additional task by senior/manager.
