We are looking for an experienced Service Engineer to join a global market-leading manufacturing business based in Banbury. The role is full-time and permanent, offering a salary of £35,000 with an increase after a 6-month probation period and an additional 20-30% achievable with overtime. Ideally, the candidate should be based within a commutable distance of Banbury. The role involves installing, servicing, and repairing equipment.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities for the Service Engineer:

• Installation and commissioning of new machinery
• Perform routine, planned maintenance on all customer equipment
• Proactively work with the team to report known issues/faults and ensure they are effectively addressed and closed out
• Perform breakdown repairs on customer machines
• Order spare parts and maintain stock locations
• Work with customers to prioritize workloads to maximize production

Experience required for the Service Engineer:

• Experience working on commercial manufactured equipment or FMCG
• Able to maintain high-volume production lines to ensure productivity
• Electrical testing and logical fault-finding skills
• Good problem-solving and diagnostic skills
• Laundry experience is desirable
• Able to work in a high-pressure environment
