Qualifications

• Experience with bespoke machinery and equipment.
• FLT & MEWP licence desired.
• CSCS card desired.

Responsibilities

• Installation and commissioning of machinery in the UK.
• Servicing, repairs, and preventative maintenance.
• Working away from home 2-3 weeks per month.

Job description

The company was established in 1977 and has gained a wealth of experience during this time. The company is renowned for providing high quality, robust and flexible materials handling and lifting equipment to help their customer lift any application, whatever the weight, height, or environment.

As the field service engineer, you will be required to carry out the installation and commissioning of machinery and equipment in the UK. You will become a subject expert on all machinery, including the installation of new equipment, servicing, repairs, preventative maintenance, and breakdowns.

What we would like from the Field Service Engineer:

• Experience working with bespoke machinery and equipment
• Hydraulic and Mechanical experience
• The ability to carry out effective diagnosis and repair of the companys products
• The ability to work away from home during the week (approx 2-3 weeks per month)
• FLT & MEWP licence (desirable)
• CSCS card (desirable)
• Exceptional customer communication and service skills

What we offer the Field Service Engineer:

• Base salary between £35k to £40k doe
• Fully remote role
• Minimum of 40 hours a week Working hours 8am to 5pm
• Single rate overtime after 40 hours Mon-Fri and double rate overtime on Sat/Sun and day in lieu the next week
• 23 days annual leave bank holidays
• 5% employee and 3% Company Contribution Pension Scheme
• Overnight accommodation (Premier Inn), breakfast and dinner
• Company Van (Ford), Mobile, Laptop, Uniform and PPE
• Company credit/fuel card
