DVF Recruitment is currently seeking a dedicated and customer-focused 1st Line Support Analyst for a leading firm. As the first point of contact for all IT-related queries, the successful candidate will provide essential support across a wide range of hardware, software, and peripherals. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with excellent communication skills and a passion for IT support, looking to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide responsive and professional technical support to users on hardware, software, and associated IT peripherals.
  • Log, track, and update all support calls, ensuring they are resolved in a timely manner and in line with SLA targets.
  • Redirect or escalate complex issues to senior members of the IT team where necessary.
  • Maintain excellent communication with users, keeping them informed of the progress and resolution of their queries.
  • Manage and monitor IT peripheral stock, ensuring that hardware such as monitors, docking stations, headsets, and keyboards are well-maintained.
  • Administer user accounts and ensure systems are secure and compliant with internal policies.
  • Complete daily IT checks, resolving any issues where possible or escalating to the IT Manager.
  • Ensure all meeting rooms and related IT equipment are functional and operational.
  • Support the maintenance of backup files where manual intervention is required.
  • Work closely with the IT Manager to continuously review and improve IT processes and procedures.
  • Adhere to company IT policies and best practices.
  • Undertake IT-related projects or tasks as directed by senior team members.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Continuously develop personal and professional skills to meet the evolving demands of the role.
  • Participate in health and safety duties as necessary.
  • Flexibility to work outside of normal office hours to provide IT support during critical times.
