Job summary

Amvia Limited, based in Sheffield, is hiring a Service Desk Technician to support IT and telecoms for local clients from our office in Sheffield City Centre.

The role requires strong root-cause analysis, clear English communication, ticketing and MS Office skills, and a good grasp of TCP/IP networking, Windows and macOS.

We offer 20 days leave plus bank holidays, out-of-hours rotation, and a supportive team in a modern office.

Qualifications

• Strong root-cause analysis to resolve issues
• Fluent English verbal and written communication
• Experience handling tickets via portal or email
• Proficiency with Windows and Mac operating systems
• Knowledge of TCP/IP networking a must

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to customers over the phone and email
• Respond to tickets via the ticketing portal and email, documenting steps taken
