Job summary

Amvia Limited is seeking a Service Desk Technician to join our IT and Telecoms team in Sheffield city centre. This office-based role runs Monday to Friday, 08:30–17:30, with out-of-hours cover on a 1 week in 4 cycle, year-round. 20 days of annual leave plus bank holidays.

Qualifications

• Proven technical support experience within IT, MSP or telecoms.
• Strong English speaking skills and excellent people skills.
• Excellent ticket handling and written communication.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and MS365 admin.
• Good knowledge of TCP/IP networking, Windows and macOS.
• At least 12 months in a single IT service desk.
• Understanding of Cyber Security tools (email filtering, MFA, domain security).
• Knowledge of MS365 admin (Entra ID, SharePoint, Teams, Intune, Exchange).

• Provide technical support to customers and suppliers by phone.
