Job description

Service Designer Role at RNID

Join our team as a Service Designer within the Digital and Innovation capability. Your role will involve:

  • Designing, building, and iterating services and products across various channels
  • Working on discoveries, prototypes, and continuous improvements that benefit the charity
  • Translating user and organisational needs into end-to-end service designs

We operate as one team with a shared purpose, working iteratively in cross-functional groups across the charity to deliver impactful work. You will collaborate closely with senior colleagues.

What We Expect from You

As a Service Designer, you should be passionate about creating comprehensive service journeys that enable users to achieve their goals and support the charity's strategy. Your responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with programme and capability leads to develop design concepts
  • Managing responsibilities across complex services
  • Setting direction and embedding best practices within teams
  • Making informed decisions based on research and understanding its impact
