Job summary

ReFood in Doncaster is seeking Class 2 HGV Drivers with no experience. We provide full training, guidance, and ongoing support to thrive in the role, supporting sustainable food waste recycling across the UK.

This permanent, full-time position offers a competitive base salary, paid breaks, and a £3,000 annual bonus for meeting targets. You’ll drive a Class 2 vehicle, perform daily checks, and be the face of our brand on every interaction.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV licence.
• Driver CPC and Tachograph card.
• Good safety awareness and a customer-focused approach.
• Reliable, punctual and self-motivated.
• Positive attitude and professional brand representation.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Class 2 vehicle to collect waste from customer locations around the depot.
• Ensure timely and efficient collections.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks.
• Keep the fleet and people safe.
• Represent the business professionally to customers.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Driving a Class 2 vehicle to collect food waste from a variety of customer locations surrounding our depot
• Ensuring timely and efficient collections
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and helping keep our fleet and people safe
• Being the face of the business professional, polite, and dependable
• Returning the waste to our facility where it’s processed into renewable energy
