Job summary

Bidfood is seeking a HGV Class 2 Delivery Driver to deliver ambient, chilled and frozen products to customers on a fixed or dynamic route across Worthing and surrounding areas. You will provide outstanding customer service while managing deliveries efficiently.

As a permanent, full-time role, you will join a team that emphasizes safety, accuracy and timely deliveries, with full induction and ongoing training and opportunities for career development within a leading foodservice business.

Qualifications

• Full UK Category C (Class 2) or C+E licence.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Strong customer service skills.
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Good time management and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver ambient, chilled and frozen products to customers across your route.
• Deliver orders safely, accurately and on time.
• Build positive relationships with customers.
• Load and unload products using cages and pallets.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and follow transport procedures.
• Manage delivery paperwork and handheld technology.
• Maintain high standards of safety, compliance and customer service.
• Represent Bidfood professionally at every customer delivery.

What you'll be doing

As a HGV Class 2 Delivery Driver, you'll deliver ambient, chilled and frozen products to customers across your route while providing outstanding customer service.

• Delivering orders safely, accurately and on time
• Building positive relationships with customers
• Loading and unloading products using cages and pallets
• Completing daily vehicle checks and following transport procedures
• Managing delivery paperwork and handheld technology
• Maintaining high standards of safety, compliance and customer service
• Representing Bidfood professionally at every customer delivery

What we’re looking For
