Job summary

ReFood is hiring Class 2 HGV Drivers at the Widnes depot. No previous HGV experience is required as full training, guidance, and ongoing support are provided to help you thrive in the role.

You will drive a Class 2 vehicle to collect food waste from customer locations, perform daily safety checks, and return waste for processing into renewable energy. This is a permanent, full-time role based in Widnes with a clear career pathway.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 HGV licence (Category C) required.
• Driver CPC and Tacho card required.
• Commitment to safety and punctuality.
• Customer-focused and reliable.
• Positive attitude when interacting with customers and representing the brand.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Class 2 vehicle to collect food waste from various locations around the depot.
• Ensure timely and efficient collections.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and support fleet safety.
• Be the face of the business: professional, polite and dependable.
• Return waste to the facility for processing into renewable energy.

• Ensuring timely and efficient collections
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and helping keep our fleet and people safe

• Returning the waste to our facility where it’s processed into renewable energy
