ReFood is hiring Class 2 HGV Drivers in Widnes. No previous HGV experience is required; if you have a licence, we provide training, guidance, and ongoing support to help you thrive in the role.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV licence.
• Have Driver CPC and a valid tachograph card.
• Demonstrate a strong focus on safety and customer service.
• Be reliable, punctual and self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Class 2 vehicle to collect food waste from customer locations near the depot.
• Ensure timely and efficient collections.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and help keep fleet and people safe.
• Be the face of the business – professional, polite, and dependable.
• Return waste to the facility for processing into renewable energy.

• Driving a Class 2 vehicle to collect food waste from a variety of customer locations surrounding our depot
• Ensuring timely and efficient collections
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and helping keep our fleet and people safe
• Being the face of the business – professional, polite, and dependable
• Returning the waste to our facility where it's processed into renewable energy
