Job summary

Rubicon Recruitment Group in Poole is seeking a Service Co-ordinator to own your own customer accounts, coordinate reactive repairs and schedule maintenance to keep vital equipment in service. You will liaise with customers, engineers and suppliers to ensure smooth operations and timely updates.

This is a stable, permanent role within an established engineering services business, supported by an Operations Director and a close-knit team.

Qualifications

• Strong administrative and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• A confident, professional telephone manner with customers, engineers and suppliers.
• Good IT skills and the ability to analyse data and produce clear reports.
• Experience coordinating jobs, schedules or workloads, ideally within engineering, maintenance or field service.
• An understanding of ISO quality procedures would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating reactive repairs within one working day, arranging engineers, workshop collections or sub-contractors.
• Preparing accurate customer quotations, ensuring the correct margin and labour are applied.
• Processing customer purchase orders within 24 hours in line with ISO procedures.
• Scheduling planned maintenance and statutory inspections, prioritising critical assets ahead of expiry.
• Keeping customers updated throughout, including weekly job status reports and accurate certification.
