Job summary

Rubicon Recruitment Agency is seeking a Service Co-ordinator to own and manage customer accounts within our established engineering services team in Poole. You will coordinate reactive repairs, arrange engineers, and ensure timely communication with customers and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Strong administrative and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Confident, professional telephone manner with customers, engineers and suppliers.
• Good IT skills and the ability to analyse data and produce clear reports.
• Experience coordinating jobs, schedules or workloads, ideally within engineering, maintenance or field service.
• An understanding of ISO quality procedures would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating reactive repairs within one working day, arranging engineers, workshop collections or sub-contractors.
• Preparing accurate customer quotations, ensuring the correct margin and labour are applied.
• Processing customer purchase orders within 24 hours in line with ISO procedures.
• Scheduling planned maintenance and statutory inspections, prioritising critical assets ahead of expiry.
• Keeping customers updated throughout, including weekly job status reports and accurate certification.
