Michael Page (UK) is partnering with a housing organisation in Manchester to recruit a Service Charge Project Manager on a 24-month contract. The role focuses on reducing deficits, ensuring service charges comply with regulations, and delivering improvements to the charges function through strong project leadership.

You will lead on service charge projects, liaise with customers and internal stakeholders, prepare annual budgets, respond to queries, and support forecasts with the Finance Manager.

Formación

• Experience in housing sector rents and service charges.
• Experience managing service charge processes and financial information.
• Strong knowledge of service charge calculations, records and reporting.
• Hands-on service charge role requiring high attention to detail, ability to organise workloads and communicate with stakeholders.
• Comfortable with change and development of a customer-focused service with budget holders.

Responsabilidades

• Lead on the successful implementation of the service charge projects
• Liaising with customers and internal stakeholders to deliver an improved service charge function
• Preparation for review of the annual service charge budgets ensuring costs are accurately determined and charged
• Resolution of customer queries or complaints relating to the service charge function
• Contribute to the preparation of forecasts on service charges with the Finance Manager
• Help the organisation improve VFM and reduce annual service charge deficits
• Contribute to the review and development of rent and service charge policies and procedures
• Ensure systems and databases for service charges are up to date and accurate
