Job summary

Flagship is seeking a Service Charge Officer to join our Norwich team. You’ll manage service charge budgets, cost reconciliation and year-end accounts, balancing accuracy with excellent customer service. This role is full time, fixed term for 12 months, with 37 hours per week.

Bring strong Excel and IT skills, knowledge of service charge regulations, and experience with housing management or accounting systems. AAT part-qualification is the minimum, with full AAT qualification desirable.

Qualifications

• Strong numerical ability with excellent customer service skills.
• Experience with service charge regulations and processes.
• Experience using housing management and accounting systems. DBS check required.

Responsibilities

• Manage service charge enquiries from internal and external customers.
• Review service charge costs for accuracy and completeness.
• Investigate discrepancies with finance colleagues.
• Prepare annual service charge budgets and reconcile expenditure.
• Produce year-end statements of account in line with leases and legislation.
• Provide guidance on service charge matters to development and operational teams.
