Job summary

Novatech in Portsmouth is seeking a Service Centre Operative to ensure the smooth operation of the Direct2Desk service. You will book items in, check documents and log details accurately while following triage processes and health & safety guidelines.

You’ll join a supportive team, with opportunities to cover reception, supplier returns or production lines as needed, contributing to a well-organised, efficient workspace.

Qualifications

• Must be methodical, process-driven and reliable.
• Punctual and adaptable to shifting priorities.
• Willingness to learn and be a team player.
• Experience in warehousing or customer-facing roles is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for goods arriving from Direct2Desk customers.
• Book items in, check documents and log accurately in systems.
• Process items through triage workflow and maintain clear records.
• Support reception, supplier returns or production line as needed.
• Follow health and safety guidelines and keep the workspace tidy.
