Job summary

Volvo Group in Leicester is seeking an experienced CSR / Service Advisor to join our busy Volvo Truck & Bus team. You will be the key link between customers, workshop technicians and parts, ensuring bookings, repairs and costs are managed efficiently with regular updates.

The role involves coordinating servicing, repairs and inspections, preparing estimates, invoicing, and delivering high-quality customer service in a fast-paced commercial vehicle environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in Service Advisor or similar role within commercial vehicles preferred.
• Customer service, Aftersales or workshop background is valuable.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and communicate clearly with customers and workshop teams.

Responsibilities

• Dealing with customers by phone, email and face-to-face.
• Booking commercial vehicles into the workshop for servicing, repairs and inspections.
• Preparing job cards and communicating customer requirements to technicians.
• Providing customers with regular updates on vehicle progress.
• Preparing estimates and obtaining authorisation for additional work.
• Liaising with technicians and parts colleagues to ensure smooth progress.
• Maintaining costs, timescales and completion dates for customers.
• Invoicing completed work and ensuring documentation is accurate.
• Handling customer queries and resolving issues professionally.
