Job summary

Volvo Group in Felixstowe is seeking a Customer Service Representative (CSR) / Service Advisor to be the key link between customers, workshop technicians and parts teams. You will book vehicles, prepare job cards and provide updates to customers while ensuring high service standards in a fast-paced commercial vehicle environment.

The role requires strong customer focus, the ability to manage multiple tasks, and IT proficiency with workshop management systems.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Service Advisor, customer service, Aftersales or Workshop environment, preferably with commercial vehicles.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.
• Ability to manage multiple jobs and priorities in a busy workshop environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer contact by phone, email and in person.
• Book vehicles into the workshop for servicing, repairs and inspections.
• Prepare job cards and clearly communicate customer requirements to technicians.
• Provide customers with regular progress updates and estimates; obtain authorisation for extra work.
• Liaise with technicians and parts staff to ensure efficient job progress.
• Keep customers informed of costs, timescales and completion dates.
• Invoicing for completed work and ensuring documentation accuracy.
• Resolve customer queries professionally and maintain high service standards.
