Service Advisor - Busy Family Run Main Dealer in Wakefield
- Basic Salary - Up to c. £27,000
- OTE - £33,000 (Commission and Performance Bonus)
- Monday-Friday 08:00-17:00
- NO WEEKENDS
- This role is open to current service advisors as well as other motor trade employees with transferable skills.
- The role is also open to people with a customer service background in a different industry.

Our client is a busy family-run dealership in the Wakefield area. They are currently looking to add a Service Advisor to their team. The successful candidate will have at least 2 years of customer-facing experience.
Current Service Advisors / Contact Centre Staff / Parts Advisors / other customer-facing candidates are encouraged to apply!
Roles and Responsibilities of a Service Advisor:
- Acting as the first point of contact for customers, both in-person and over the phone.
- Booking appointments and scheduling work for the workshop team.
- Providing accurate quotations for services.
- Upselling additional services and products where appropriate.
- Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and vehicle service history.
- Liaising with the workshop team to ensure that work is completed on time and to a high standard.
- Managing customer expectations and resolving any issues that arise.
Benefits the successful Service Advisor will receive:
- Basic salary of c. £27,000.
- OTE of around £33,000, made up of centre performance and individual components.
- 30 days annual leave inclusive of bank holidays.

The successful Service Advisor will have:
- Previous experience as a service advisor, or in other automotive roles with transferable skills.
- Customer-facing experience in a different area is also acceptable.
- A stable career history.
- A full UK driving licence.
- The ability to work in an organised and efficient manner, whilst being comfortable upselling products and services.
