Job summary

Pembrook Resourcing is recruiting for an experienced Service Advisor to join an established automotive dealership in Hedge End, Hampshire. You will be the main point of contact for customers, manage workshop bookings and liaise with technicians to keep the customer journey smooth from booking to vehicle collection.

• Previous experience as a Service Advisor or Service Receptionist within the motor trade.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy workload.
• Confident liaising with customers and workshop technicians.
• A professional, customer-focused approach.
• Experience using dealership systems and working within a busy aftersales department would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact for customers booking vehicles in for servicing and repairs.
• Manage workshop bookings and ensure a smooth customer journey from booking to collection.
• Liaise with technicians to monitor vehicle progress and ensure work is completed efficiently.
• Keep customers informed of repair progress, additional work and estimated costs.
• Explain estimates, invoices and recommended maintenance clearly to customers.
• Advise customers on relevant maintenance requirements and service-plan options.
• Deliver excellent customer service and build lasting relationships.

A GREAT OPPORTUNITY FOR AN EXPERIENCED SERVICE ADVISOR

Pembrook Resourcing is currently recruiting for an experienced Service Advisor to join an established automotive dealership in Hedge End, Hampshire.

THE PACKAGE:

• £28,320 basic salary.
• £36,000 OTE.
• Monday–Friday, 8:00am–6:00pm.
• Just 6 Saturday mornings per year, 8:30am–1:00pm.

THE ROLE:

• Act as the main point of contact for customers booking vehicles in for servicing and repairs.
• Manage workshop bookings and ensure a smooth customer journey from initial booking through to vehicle collection.
• Liaise with technicians to monitor vehicle progress and ensure work is completed efficiently.
• Keep customers informed of repair progress, additional work and estimated costs.
• Explain estimates, invoices and recommended maintenance clearly to customers.
• Advise customers on relevant maintenance requirements and service-plan options.
• Deliver excellent customer service and build lasting customer relationships.
