Job summary

Jago Consultants is seeking an experienced Service Advisor for a leading car dealership in Grantham. You will greet customers, explain required service and repairs, and ensure a smooth workshop workflow.

You will estimate costs, advise on timescales, and process job cards and invoices. Strong communication and customer service skills are essential, as is a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Service Advisor, preferably in a main dealership.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Experience handling service and repair cost estimates.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customers are aware of required service and repair work in a professional manner.
• Advise on estimated costs of repairs and work to be undertaken.
• Sell additional products as appropriate to customers’ needs.
• Advise on timescales and collection arrangements.
• Produce job cards on in-house computer system.
• Update customer and vehicle records.
• Document warranty work per manufacturer policy.
• Prepare and complete invoices.

As Service Advisor you will ensure the highest standard of courtesy and professionalism when interacting with customers and members of the public.

Duties include:
