Job summary

GAUCHO Newcastle is seeking an experienced Senior Waiter who can deliver exceptional hospitality and lead by example on busy shifts. You will upsell GAUCHO products, mentor junior staff and be the face of the brand within the team.

You thrive in a fast-paced environment, work well with colleagues, and maintain warmth, professionalism and a welcoming dining atmosphere from service start to finish. Staff meals on every shift, training opportunities, and career progression await the successful

Responsibilities

• Work with the restaurant team to offer an unforgettable GAUCHO experience to all our guests through heightened hospitality.
• Be the face of GAUCHO and demonstrate service excellence while following the GAUCHO steps of service and standards.
• Strengthen and maintain product knowledge in order to host tables and guide guests with menu choices.
• Support and assist the management team to maximise sales revenues by driving covers and average spend per head.
• Ensure all guest orders are received and processed professionally and accurately.
• Help maintain a clean and organised restaurant at all times and follow all set-up and breakdown procedures.
