Job summary

On the Beach is looking for an SEO & GEO Assistant to drive organic search and AI-driven discovery. You’ll support technical SEO, content strategy, rank tracking, and Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO).

The role is hands‑on, learning‑rich, and involves working with CMS workflows and data analysis. You’ll explore AI search developments, monitor platforms like ChatGPT and Perplexity, and contribute to content briefs with a focus on structured answers and credible signals.

Qualifications

• Experience editing a website via CMS platforms.
• Genuine interest in SEO and/or digital marketing; exposure to search or a relevant degree.
• Interest in AI search and how LLMs & GAIO are changing the search landscape.
• Comfortable working with data and analytical tools.
• Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to research and reporting.
• Good communication skills.
• Organised and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Support weekly and monthly SEO performance reporting using Ahrefs, Google Search Console, and internal analytics tools.
• Monitor keyword rankings and flag movements, investigate causes.
• Assist with on-page SEO audits and implement recommendations via the CMS and development workflow.
• Conduct competitor analysis on content, rankings, and share of voice.
• Help build and maintain internal linking structures and content optimisation across the site.
• Monitor AI visibility across platforms and test prompts for key queries.
• Support content briefs aligning with GEO best practices and surface insights.
