Job summary

next level - marketing, creative, PR & digital recruitment is seeking an SEO & GEO Manager to own search across a portfolio of premium clients. This hands-on role blends strategy, technical SEO, content, local SEO and emerging GEO capabilities, with strong client interaction and data-driven storytelling.

You'll help shape the agency's GEO/AI search approach, test methodologies and practical implementations, delivering measurable commercial impact in a collaborative hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• Strong SEO foundations and curiosity about future of search.
• Experience across technical, on-page, content, off-page and local SEO.
• Experience with keyword research, intent and competitor analysis.
• Familiarity with Google Business Profile and local SEO.
• Proficient with SEO tools: Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs and Screaming Frog.
• Comfortable presenting ideas and results to clients.

Responsibilities

• Own SEO strategy and day-to-day delivery across client portfolio.
• Carry out keyword research and opportunity assessments.
• Develop search-led content strategies around intent and journeys.
• Optimize websites, landing pages and product pages.
• Perform technical SEO audits and identify crawl/index opportunities.
• Make routine SEO changes in CMS (WordPress).
• Work on redirects, canonicals, structured data, internal linking, sitemaps and robots.txt.
• Support local SEO and Google Business Profile optimization.
• Monitor performance with Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs and Screaming Frog.
• Develop reporting and dashboards showing commercial impact.
• Collaborate with brand/content/performance teams for joined-up strategies.
• Present recommendations to clients and stakeholders.
• Help develop GEO/AI search proposition and reporting.
• Experiment with AI and search tools and stay ahead of trends.
