Job summary

Creative Support is seeking a dedicated individual to join The Space Centre in Preston. The role focuses on enabling carers to use sensory facilities to benefit children and adults with additional needs.

You will need to be committed, positive, and person-centred, with the ability to guide and nurture groups. The position is full-time (37.5 hours per week), with flexible rota including evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience working with people with physical and/or learning disabilities, including autism.

Responsibilities

• Join The Space Centre team to enable carers to use the sensory facilities and support participants to gain maximum benefit.
• Demonstrate commitment, positivity and a person-centred approach; guide and nurture groups; adapt to varying daily activities and tasks.
