Job summary

CREATIVE SUPPORT SERVICES LTD is seeking a Relief Support Worker for our Heysham, Morecambe service. You will support individuals with autism spectrum conditions and learning disabilities, promoting personal development and independent living skills within a caring, person-centred approach.

The role requires a warm, respectful attitude and flexibility, including evenings and weekends. We value collaboration with families and professionals and offer ongoing training through our Creative Academy

Qualifications

• Minimum of twelve months' previous employed experience in a similar role is essential.
• Experience in providing care and support to people with autism spectrum conditions is preferable but not essential.
• Desirable: a relevant social care qualification.

Responsibilities

• Providing support, information and guidance to service users
• Maximising service user outcomes by encouraging personal development and independent living skills
• Empowering service users and promote their rights
• Collaborating with service users, families and involved professionals to provide a consistent and coordinated service
• A willingness to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of the service
• You will be paid weekly
