Creative Support invites applications for a leadership role at Space Centre, a nationally recognized sensory centre. You will join an established, passionate team, reporting to the Centre manager, and help drive high-quality services for people with additional needs.

The role involves working with vulnerable individuals and their carers, across a rota that includes day, evening and weekend shifts. Training is provided, with opportunities to pursue a QCF Diploma in Health and Social Care.

Formación

• Enthusiastic, organised and value-led individual with practical approach.
• Experience with people with physical and/or learning disabilities, including Autism, preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the Space Centre team and work closely with the Centre manager.
• Provide support to people with disabilities and their carers to access sensory facilities.
• Work a rota that includes days, evenings and weekends.
• Support service development to meet future needs of the centre.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, organised, values led and practical person to join and help lead the team at Space Centre, A national multi sensory centre operating for over 30 years to deliver excellent services to people nationally.

We work with vulnerable people and their carers to use the sensory facilities to gain the maximum benefit for children and adults with additional needs. This is a new role working closely with the Centre manager and is designed to meet the future needs of our vibrant and developing service. You will join an experienced and passionate established team.

Shifts are based on a rota system which will include days, evenings and weekends.

Applicants should ideally have some life or work experience working with people with physical and/or learning disabilities, including working with those with Autism.
