Job summary

North West Trucks is seeking an experienced Workshop Manager to lead our busy Warrington workshop. You will manage technicians, schedule work, and drive performance while delivering high levels of service.

The role requires strong leadership, hands-on oversight, and a customer‑focused approach. Hours are 45 per week, Monday to Friday, with a salary dependent on experience and discussed at interview.

Qualifications

• Lead, coach and develop a team of technicians and workshop staff.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent organisational and planning abilities.
• Proven track record of improving workshop performance.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operation of the workshop, ensuring efficient scheduling and utilisation of technicians.
• Monitor workshop productivity, efficiency and performance against targets.
• Ensure all repair and maintenance work is completed to manufacturer and company standards.
• Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations and workshop best practices.
• Work closely with the Service Department to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workshop performance and customer satisfaction.
