Job summary

Our client, a large, multi-function organization, seeks a Senior Workday Business Analyst to own the connection between HR, Payroll, Finance, and technology teams within their Workday HCM ecosystem. You will turn business needs into workable solutions—running discovery sessions, shaping requirements, and guiding projects through testing and go-live.

It's a role for someone fluent in technical and non-technical audiences who can drive results without formal authority.

Qualifications

5+ years as a business analyst in enterprise systems
3+ years hands-on with Workday HCM and related modules
Experience supporting Workday testing, UAT and defect tracking

Responsibilities

Act as liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams on Workday initiatives
Run requirements-gathering sessions across HR, Payroll, Compensation, Benefits, and Talent
Translate business needs into clear specs, user stories, and process documentation
Review current processes, identify gaps, and recommend improvements
Support system upgrades, enhancements, and regression testing
Guide testing cycles from planning through UAT and defect resolution
Keep documentation current, including requirements and test scripts
