Job summary

Clutch Canada is seeking a Windows Desktop Developer in Nottingham to lead the design and development of native applications using Windows App SDK and related technologies. The role requires a minimum of 3 years' experience in desktop development with strong skills in C#, XAML, and accessibility APIs. You will play a key role in shaping the product, ensuring quality, and collaborating with product teams. Qualifications

• 3+ years in Windows desktop application development using Windows App SDK, WinUI, C#, and XAML.
• Deep understanding of Windows application architecture.
• Proven track record of designing, building, and shipping production-quality desktop applications.
• Strong experience with accessibility APIs on Windows.
• Excellent software engineering fundamentals including OOP and design patterns.
• Experience leading technical design and mentoring others.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, architecture, and development of native Windows desktop applications.
• Define and enforce best practices for Windows desktop development.
• Drive accessibility efforts for user inclusivity.
• Collaborate closely with teams to shape feature planning.
• Take ownership of the full lifecycle of features.
• Identify and resolve performance and compatibility issues.
