Allegra Care Limited's Fairmile Grange Care Home in Christchurch is seeking an enthusiastic Activities and Wellbeing Team Leader to coordinate a varied programme for residents. This full-time role involves hands-on leadership of the wellbeing team and delivering engaging activities to enrich daily life.

You’ll plan a monthly calendar, arrange visitors and community links, and work closely with care staff to ensure activities are inclusive and person-centred.

Qualifications

• Experience in activities, wellbeing or events (ideally in a care setting)
• Ability to lead and motivate a small team
• Creative and organized with strong coordination skills
• Compassionate and good communicator

Responsabilités

• Lead, supervise and support the wellbeing/activities team
• Plan and coordinate a monthly programme of events and themed celebrations
• Arrange visiting entertainers, guest speakers and community groups
• Build links with local schools, charities and organisations
• Support residents on outings and special events
• Work with care/nursing teams to ensure inclusive, person-centred activities
• Maintain activity records and contribute to care planning
