Job summary

White House Care Home, part of Care Concern Group, seeks an Activities Lead to design and deliver a person‑centred activities programme for residents, including those living with dementia. You will plan group and 1:1 sessions, tailor activities to individual interests, and work closely with the Home Manager to align activities with care plans.

You will maintain records, review the programme, and foster a caring, inclusive environment that promotes wellbeing and social interaction for residents

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an Activities Coordinator or similar role is essential
• Proven ability to plan and deliver engaging activities and events
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Confident, creative and proactive approach
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience supporting older people, including those living with dementia

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver a high quality, person-centred activities programme.
• Plan and lead both group and one-to-one activities tailored to individual interests and care needs.
• Collaborate with the Home Manager and team to integrate activities with individual care plans.
• Maintain accurate records and continuously review and improve the programme.
