Amica Care in Exmouth is seeking a Senior Activities Coordinator to lead engaging programmes that improve residents’ physical, mental and emotional wellbeing. You will design tailored activities, manage a team of coordinators and volunteers, and oversee group sessions, outings, and communications for the home.

The role requires creativity, strong communication, and the ability to work independently. This not-for-profit cares deeply about joy, dignity and meaningful daily moments for older adults.

Formación

• Experience in a care setting and supervising others.
• Creative, confident, approachable and full of ideas.
• Excellent communication and motivational skills.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently.
• Good IT skills with Microsoft Office.
• Passion for enhancing wellbeing and quality of life.

Responsabilidades

• Designing activity programmes tailored to individual residents.
• Leading and motivating Activity Coordinators & Volunteers.
• Creating uplifting group sessions and meaningful 1:1 moments.
• Organising themed events, celebrations and outings.
• Managing the home's Facebook page and creating posters.
• Producing a bi-monthly newsletter with life in the home.
• Collaborating with residents, families and the care team.
• Bringing imagination, energy, empathy and FUN into every day!
