Job summary

MBDA Stevenage seeks a Systems Engineer/Architect to join the STRATUS LO project team, delivering architecture solutions for next-generation weapon systems.

You will work with multi-national teams, applying model-based systems engineering principles to support lifecycle engineering from early development through design and integration.

The role offers hybrid working (2–3 days on site) with a focus on collaboration, security clearance, and career development.

Qualifications

• Experience in complex systems (weapon/missile systems) and architecture practice.
• Practical modelling of systems using model-based methods and lifecycle knowledge.
• Ability to work with multi-disciplinary, multi-national teams and communicate concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the STRATUS LO Weapon System architecture across development lifecycle.
• Develop and mature architecture to support design and integration on multiple platforms.
• Collaborate with international teams and stakeholders to deliver technical solutions.
