Job summary

MBDA in Stevenage is seeking a Product Lead to own the definition and delivery of product strategies for a range of weapon systems. You will influence project roadmaps, policies and standards, shaping proposals for architectural solutions to acceptance by Project and Delivery teams.

Working on a hybrid model, you will lead diverse teams across the UK and internationally, developing future roadmaps while ensuring cost-effectiveness and technical alignment with customer needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in design and development of electronics in the defence sector.
• Strategic thinking with ability to influence across UK and international partners.
• Proven ability to define product strategies and roadmaps and shape architectural proposals.
• Ability to write clear engineering documentation and present to all levels.

Responsibilities

• Own the definition and delivery of product strategies for MBDA weapon systems.
• Influence project roadmaps, policies and technical standards to meet GMA/GSA strategies.
• Lead proposals for architectural solutions across a diverse product range.
• Collaborate with Project and Delivery teams to achieve acceptance and progress.
• Ensure cost effectiveness, deliverability, and alignment with customer requirements.
