Job summary

Egis Group is seeking a Water Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our UK P3M CM team, delivering pre- and post-contract management for water sector projects in the Midlands and beyond. You will work client-side, ensuring cost control, procurement and robust contract administration across NEC3/4 frameworks.

The role requires a degree in Quantity Surveying, RICS progression or APC, and substantial post-qualification experience in rail, nuclear, water or environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree qualification in Quantity Surveying.
• Full Membership of chartered body such as RICS or APC pathway in progress.
• Experience postgraduate in Rail, Nuclear, Water and/or Environment.
• Line Management and recruitment experience of Quantity Surveyors.
• CDM regulation knowledge and experience.
• Risk management experience.
• Valid CSCS card, Water Hygiene Card desirable.
• Main contractor and/or joint venture experience working client side.
• Site presence and co-location minimum 4 days a week.
• Experienced user of the NEC3-4 suite of contracts (A-C-E must have).

Responsibilities

• NEC3/4 Option A, Option C, Option E ECC Contract management and administration client side.
• Budget control.
• Payment valuation and assisting the PM in payment certification.
• Actual cost forecasting and Defined Cost determination.
• Establishing and maintaining productive relationships with stakeholders.
• Ensure contract records are maintained and oversee contractual issues.
• Feasibility studies and cost planning.
• Preparation of tender documentation.
• Evaluation of tenders and risk management.
• Post-contract: management and administration of contracts, cost control and variations; claims and dispute resolution; final accounts and post-project evaluation.
