Job summary

Egis is recruiting a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the UK Water, Environment and Nuclear sector team. Based in the West Midlands with 4 days at client site and 1 day from home, the role focuses on NEC3/4 contract management, cost control and pre/post-contract activities for major capital programmes.

The successful candidate will bring experience in Rail, Nuclear, Water or Environment sectors, line management capability, and a drive to develop through RICS training and chartership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, plus chartered pathway progress
• Experience postgraduate in Rail, Nuclear, Water and/or Environment sectors
• Line management and recruitment experience of Quantity Surveyors or Assistant Quantity Surveyors
• CDM regulation knowledge and experience
• Risk management experience
• Main contractor/joint venture client-side experience
• NEC3-4 suite familiarity (A-C-E)

Responsibilities

• NEC3/4 contract management and administration on client side
• Budget control and cost forecasting
• Payment valuation and assisting PM with certification
• Costing and defined cost determination
• Maintain productive stakeholder relationships
• Ensure contract records meet requirements
