Job summary

Egis UK is expanding its P3M CM team and seeks Quantity Surveyors to manage commercial aspects of water sector capital programmes, primarily in the Midlands, with opportunities across defence and nuclear sectors. You will report to the Water Cost and Commercial Lead, applying NEC3/4 contract knowledge and strong cost management to deliver value and compliance.

We offer a pathway for progression across sectors and a collaborative work environment with a minimum three days in the office.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying (Bachelor’s or Master’s).
• Progress toward RICS chartership or equivalent professional development.

Responsibilities

• Administer NEC3/4 ECC contracts (Options A, C & E) on the client side.
• Support budget control, payment valuations, and cost forecasting.
• Maintain accurate commercial records and resolve contractual issues.
• Collaborate with Project Managers on payment certification and defined cost determination.
• Conduct feasibility studies and cost planning; assist in preparing tender documentation.
• Identify risks and contribute to mitigation strategies.
• Monitor costs, negotiate variations, and support claims resolution.
• Contribute to final account preparation and post-project evaluation.
• Support bid development and proposal strategy with senior leadership.
