Job summary

WSP is seeking a Water Quality and Catchment Management specialist to join a dynamic UK-based team. The role involves data analysis, interpretation, and visualisation of water quality datasets, as well as designing field campaigns and delivering technical reports to clients.

Applicants should have degree-level qualifications in earth/environmental sciences and experience with water quality modelling tools. The role supports hybrid working across UK offices, with opportunities to collaborate

Qualifications

• Degree-level qualifications in a relevant subject (e.g. geography, geology, geochemistry, earth/environmental science, civil engineering or similar).
• A higher degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. river or lake water quality, water chemistry, hydrogeochemistry, water management, environmental science, or similar) is desirable, but not essential.
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to apply them to solving problems and providing solutions.

Responsibilities

• Water quality data analysis, conceptualisation and visualisation and clear communication.
• Carrying out desk-based investigations / interpretation of datasets.
• Helping to design field monitoring campaigns including traditional and non-traditional approaches.
• Delivery of technical reports and presentations to clients; and
• Winning new work and writing proposals for new projects.
• Project and task management.
