Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Project Manager in the Water team, based in the UK with flexible hybrid working. You will lead on multiple small to medium water utility projects, covering wastewater and potable water schemes within long-term client frameworks across the UK.

You will drive PM practices, manage delivery procedures, and oversee PMs while potentially taking on complex projects. Join a diverse team delivering sustainable water solutions and benefit from a supportive, flexible work culture.

Qualifications

• A degree or equivalent in an engineering subject - e.g. civil, mechanical, electrical.
• Experience in delivering water or wastewater treatment projects.
• Have strong commercial, risk management and contractual skills and experience, e.g. NEC4.
• Chartered or working towards Chartered Engineer Status or APM registration.

Responsibilities

• Provide input/support on continuous improvement to, and execution of, project delivery procedures.
• Drive consistent Project Manager practices and procedures in alignment with AECOM PM requirements and the Project Delivery System (PDS).
• Oversee the work of one or more Project Managers and provide support as required into any of the Project Managers tasks noted above.
• Depending on region and project requirements you may also project manage more complex projects of your own, in additionto the above.
