Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead multiple small to medium water utility projects in the UK, primarily within long-term client frameworks. You will work in a growing Water team with a flexible hybrid model, collaborating with civil, mechanical, electrical and process engineers.

You will drive project delivery, ensure PM practices align with the Project Delivery System, and oversee PMs while potentially taking on more complex projects based on region.

Qualifications

• Degree in an engineering subject (civil, mechanical, electrical).
• Experience delivering water or wastewater treatment projects.
• Strong commercial, risk management and contractual skills (e.g., NEC4).
• Chartered Engineer status or working toward APMon/chartered status.

Responsibilities

• Provide input/support on continuous improvement to project delivery procedures.
• Drive consistent PM practices and procedures in line with PM requirements and PDS.
• Oversee one or more Project Managers and provide support as needed.
• Project manage more complex projects depending on region and requirements.
