Job summary

Galliford Try in Durham seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale water and environmental construction schemes within the AMP 8 Northumbrian Water Framework. You will oversee the project portfolio across the region, ensuring commercial and safety targets are met and client expectations are exceeded.

You will manage multi-site delivery, drive programme performance, and mentor junior staff while maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Proven track record leading high value projects in construction.
• Experience with NEC contracts and commercial awareness.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead project delivery outputs including programme, cost, health & safety and environment.
• Mentor and develop site staff; recruit and onboard key personnel.
• Ensure projects meet KPI/PI targets and client requirements within budget.
