Job summary

Kintec Global Recruitment is seeking an experienced EICA design engineer for water and wastewater projects in the UK. You will design, review, and deliver MCCs, instrumentation, and control systems across the project lifecycle, from concept to construction.

The role requires strong client and site exposure and a Chartered status or progress toward it, with hybrid working flexibility. The position offers long-term security with a solid pipeline of AMP work and opportunities to progress to

Qualifications

Strong experience in EICA design within the water sector.
Solid understanding of electrical and control systems including MCCs, telemetry, and instrumentation.
Experience spanning both design and project delivery.
Chartered or working towards chartered status.
Comfortable engaging directly with clients and site teams.
Strong pipeline of secured AMP work for long-term job security.
Involvement across the full project lifecycle, from concept to delivery.
Hybrid working with genuine flexibility.
Varied mix of design, site work, and direct client exposure.

Responsibilities

Deliver EICA design across water and wastewater projects.
Produce and review deliverables including load schedules, MCCs, and instrumentation.
Support projects from concept through to construction.
Collaborate with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
Support site surveys and commissioning activities.
Respond to technical queries throughout delivery.
Ensure compliance with UK standards such as WIMES and ATEX.
