A leading engineering recruitment service is seeking a Senior EICA Design Engineer in Manchester. You will lead the preparation of design deliverables, mentor junior engineers, and ensure technical excellence in projects, particularly within the UK water sector. The ideal candidate is degree-qualified, chartered or working towards it, and has a proactive mindset with strong collaboration skills. This role offers a salary range of £40-65k per annum plus excellent benefits.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering (or similar).
• Chartered or Incorporated Engineer or working towards it.
• Experience in the UK water sector and wastewater treatment projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation of high-quality EICA design deliverables.
• Review and check work of others for technical excellence.
• Supervise and mentor junior engineers.
• Build strong relationships with clients and supply chain.
• Collaborate across disciplines to deliver integrated solutions.
