Job summary

Lanesra Technical Recruitment Limited is seeking an Electrical & ICA (EICA) Engineer for hybrid roles in Exeter or Bristol. The role involves design and coordination across disciplines for water projects, with a focus on cost-effective, safe, and compliant plant layouts.

The ideal candidate will have water/wastewater design experience, professional membership, and either an Electrical/ICA degree or HND with substantial experience. Hybrid working and a strong package are on offer.

Qualifications

Understand the principles of water and sewage treatment.
Design experience of water and sewage treatment plants.
Membership of a professional institution.
Preferable: Electrical or ICA engineering degree.
Minimum: HND with extensive suitable experience.
Ability to rationalise designs and produce economic plant layouts.
A flexible mind, with the ability to assimilate large amounts of data.
Computer literacy.

Responsibilities

Produce design layouts which are cost effective and meet the specification, ensuring constructability and commissioning ease.
Coordinate designs with other disciplines and ensure standard practices are used.
Provide estimates and feedback for Proposals department.
Develop and monitor department procedures and processes.
Assist in supervising and developing staff, and oversee health and safety.
