Job summary
A leading clean water technology company in Basingstoke is seeking a Senior Control System Engineer to deliver solutions in the Water industry. The role involves developing, commissioning, and supporting automation systems, designing control systems, and managing project milestones. Candidates should have at least 8-10 years of relevant experience and strong knowledge of PLC, HMI/SCADA systems, and process automation. Qualifications
- Minimum 8-10 years in design and commissioning of control systems.
- Experience in Hydro power and Water sector preferred.
- Full UK Driving Licence required.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute intrusive surveys on live control systems.
- Develop Functional Design Specifications for projects.
- Assist in commissioning and provide specialist support.
Skills
Design of control and electrical systems
Experience with PLC and HMI/SCADA systems
Knowledge of Profibus, Ethernet, Modbus
Ability to manage risks in live environments
Strong knowledge of process systems
Education
HNC/HND Degree in Engineering
