Job summary

Automation Experts in Nottinghamshire is seeking a Controls Engineer to design and implement control systems using Siemens, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi or Schneider PLCs, and to develop HMI SCADA systems.

You will read P&ID diagrams, prepare Functional Design Specifications, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time. A hybrid pattern and a £4K car allowance accompany the role.

Qualifications

• Experience in PLC/Controls Engineering.
• Proficiency with Siemens, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi or Schneider PLCs.
• Strong skills in HMI SCADA systems.
• Ability to read and interpret P&ID's.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement control systems including PLCs.
• Develop and manage HMI SCADA systems for operational efficiency.
• Create Functional Design Specifications (FDS) and I/O Schedules.
• Interpret P&ID's to ensure accurate system configuration.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by staying updated on industry trends.
