Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland seeks an experienced Clean Water Process Engineer (Principal to Associate Director) to join our Water Engineering teams across Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool, London, Newcastle or Glasgow.

You will drive process design from feasibility to detailed design, support procurement and proposals, and mentor junior staff within a multidisciplinary project environment.

Qualifications

• Chemical or Environmental Engineering degree or MSc.
• CEng registration or working toward Chartership within 12 months.
• Significant experience delivering municipal clean water process design.
• Experience in optioneering, feasibility studies and detailed design.
• Consultancy/engineering company experience leading multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Produce process design deliverables including optioneering, mass balance, P&IDs and basis of design.
• Lead outline or detailed process engineering design.
• Attend site visits for data collection and site operator discussions.
• Provide technical input to procurement and client discussions.
• Coach and supervise junior staff; coordinate with other disciplines.
